Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actress soon after her move to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Also, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial hardships within her family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she dropped out of her sophomore year and earned a GED. After that she was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy. .
